Ground Control to Major Tom
Major Tom is a ceramic figure which celebrates the achievements made by man and space exploration.
My fascination with space and exploration of the unknown have led me to create this piece of decor.

3D printed model of the astronaut,
After removing the supports...
Used the 3D printed model to create a casting mold.
It consisted on five parts for the body and two for the arms.
Casting has begun.
Took it out of the mold, now I just need to attach the arms to the body.
After the parboil.
Now the model is ready for the ceramic glaze
